While millions go with little to no work, home foreclosures, and record profits for the few, there is a growing rage building in our society. Some would use this for an excuse to commit acts of violence and others would use it for proof that the other guy is causing the problems. However, these things are not what the movement is about.

  Defining any of this is next to impossible when limited to mainstream media outlets and soundbites of lunatics plastered on partisan websites that would keep you divided from your neighbor. Citizen Commons was born out of a need to set the narrative of this movement by the people, for the people.

  One of the concepts used to discredit this movement is accusing us of just asking for a handout. For that reason, we decided to build this project on a sustainable business model. Our vetting practices also keep the fringe elements and noise to a minimum while allowing for the true voice of our writers. Whether you are just trying to gain a better understanding or would like to become a contributor, Citizen Commons is the place for movement based news and commentary.
